June experienced yoga for the first time in 2011. She wish she could say that she instantly fell in love with it, but in fact, it took her many months before she noticed the slightest physical or mental changes. Now, however, she continually experiences being 'in the zone' and the feels that the tuning of her mind and body is a natural part of her practice.

Through yoga, she has learned that she is 100% in charge of herself...in charge of her body, her emotions, and her own happiness. After struggling with self doubt & a poor body image for years as a result of childhood traumas, she finally found that peaceful place inside and is now ready to share what she has learned through yoga & meditation.

Because of her experiences, she is very passionate about the well-being of children...believing that every child should feel safe, feel free to express, and most importantly, experience love unconditionally. She is determined to create an environment where children can be happy, brave, and awesome...and of course, have FUN. Having recently become certified to teach children’s yoga, she feels extremely fortunate that she is able to spread the gift of yoga LOVE to many children.

Born & raised in Japan, June moved to the US in 2001 to pursue a B.S. degree in Business Administration at the University at Buffalo. She is married and works as a Marketing Coordinator in a specialties industry. In her free time, She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), appointed by a judge to speak on behalf of abused & neglected children in the Erie County court system.
